Since the dawn of hybrid vehicles the average American has dismissed them as wimpy cars that can barely hit 50 miles per hour. Well this past week perhaps the largest leap in the fight against global warming occurred from a familiar name, but an unlikely candidate. Al Gore III took his father’s cause and opened the eyes of all the hybrid technology naysayers, as he proved that in fact the Toyota Prius can do 100 miles per hour.
