If you are still trying to figure out what Cloverfield is start here…

The website www.slusho.jp is the newest link in connection with the J.J. Abrams Project (Cloverfield).  The question is does this website advertising a fictional drink give us any clues to the Cloverfield film?  The most obvious guess might be the underwater theme of the site, rumors of a water monster have been great and this only supports them.  Also the history page seems to be of importance, it names three characters in the story of how Slusho came about.  Three generations of the Yoshida family, Ryouta, Noriko, and Ganu are introduced in the explanation of how Ganu came about finding the key ingredient of slusho in the greatest depths of the sea.  Could these events possibly have something to do with the cause of the destruction of New York?  Or perhaps one or more of the characters will play a significant role in the actual film.  The last explanation of the site might just be that slusho is a fictional product that may be seen throughout the film.
